Like a child who can’t win a game and throws a fit, PM Modi made a remark in the Rajya Sabha implying that those who can’t fight and win resort to disruptions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a comment about Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s decision not to run for Lok Sabha elections and opting for a Rajya Sabha seat instead.

In a recent speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi subtly criticized Congress leader Sonia Gandhi for giving up her Lok Sabha seat in Rae Bareli to become a member of the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. Although he didn’t mention her name directly, PM Modi mentioned that a leader from the Congress has made the move to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan.

PM Modi also brought up former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s previous membership in the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan before highlighting the recent stint of another leader from the Congress party. He remarked that those who are unable to contest and win elections have chosen to come to Rajasthan this time.

This incident has stirred up a political storm, with opposition parties accusing the Prime Minister of making disrespectful remarks against senior political figures. Critics have pointed out that both Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi have had long and distinguished political careers, serving in various significant roles and making significant contributions to the country.

The comments made by the Prime Minister have elicited strong reactions from supporters of the former Prime Minister and the Congress party, who see this as an attempt to belittle their leaders’ contributions. This incident has further fueled the ongoing political debates and rivalry in the country as the election season approaches.

In simple terms, the Prime Minister accused the Congress party of weakening the country through corruption and promoting only family interests. He also mentioned that the youth of the country are so upset with the Congress that they do not want to see them in power again.

Additionally, he made a remark about politicians shifting from Lok Sabha to Rajya Sabha without contesting elections, indirectly referring to Sonia Gandhi’s transition to the Rajya Sabha. This was Sonia Gandhi’s first time becoming a member of the Rajya Sabha.
