PM Modi Slams Congress’s South Goa Candidate Indian Constitution was ‘forced on Goa’ claim is an insult to Ambedkar and Constitution,” says PM Modi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Congress for snubbing the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram temple on January 22 this year.
Addressing a rally in Chhattisgarh’s Janjgir-Champa, the Prime Minister criticized the Congress leaders, accusing them of considering themselves above Lord Ram and engaging in appeasement politics.
Modi stated that some may not think twice about sacrificing the rights of Dalits, the poor, and Adivasis for political gain through appeasement. He emphasized that our main focus should be on uplifting the poor, youth, and women.
During the rally, PM Modi once again slammed the Congress for its repetitive claim that the BJP will alter the constitution.
“Whenever elections draw near, Congress leaders echo the same worn-out accusations. They insist that BJP will dismantle the constitution and revoke reservation. How long will you persist with spreading falsehoods?” PM Modi questioned.
“Nobody can change the Constitution; it won’t happen even if Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar were to come and insist on it,” the Prime Minister declared.
“Congress people say they will break Modi’s head. But as long as the mothers and sisters of my country are with me, no one can harm Modi. These mothers and sisters are my ‘Raksha Kavach’,” Modi emphasized with pride.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress candidate from Goa for suggesting that the Indian Constitution was forced upon the people of Goa, saying, “When Goa was liberated in the year 1961, the Indian Constitution was forced upon us.” This statement by the Congress candidate led to PM Modi questioning whether this was not an insult to Ambedkar and the Constitution itself.
